Never took them. Of course I was a toddler when I got MS.

Thanks for that link DV.

I think I am totally s****** because I had to stop birth control several years ago due to PE after having a PICC line. I think I have that many risk factors of having MS now that I should have had it stamped on my head a long time ago lol.

Karry.

Seems like just living puts you at risk of MS :-)

One common thread amongst diseases such as MS that I'd love to see investigated is people's occupation.  From what I've seen, lots of people seem to have been in really high stress positions at the time things have gone haywire, such as being a teacher, armed forces, social workers, medical practitioners, or going through a highly stressful 'life' event etc.

Thanks for posting this, though i'm not sure if its just a weird coincidence or what.... but i actually did go off oral contraceptives around the time (late 20's) we've placed my visual sx's starting.

"Women who stopped taking birth control pills at least one month before MS symptoms started were 50 per cent more likely to develop the disease."

All these 'possible links' make me laugh, i basically have a lot of them in my history, (i did want to do a poll but without being able to choose more than one of something it wouldn't work) its interesting but if it pans out will open up a giant can of worms lol

Cheers.......JJ
