pain in the pelvic area

Geez, I keep losing my post....so here it is !  I am having constant pain below my abdomen, in my pelvic area.  Could it be from constipation ?  Or something else?  Its weird and I don't have my new primary Dr. yet, although I do have an appt coming up.  Its probably something really bad again...lol

Any ideas anyone ?

hugs, meg

Hi Meg!  I was dealing with pains like this and still am after several tests.  Is your pain similar to menstrual cramps?  If so it could very well be bladder spasms!  I was shocked to find this out but I am now under the care of a urologist and she has me on meds to alleviate the pain.  However, when my MS flares, the meds don't help much.  I am waiting for a vaginal suppository to be specially made up now which contains a type of valium to relax my bladder therefore alleviating the pain and make it easier to void.  I hope you are able to get some answers about this soon...if it is in fact your bladder, there is help and it would be worth your while to check it out.  Hope this helps!

Hugs,
Rena

Hi you, yes, it could really be constipation.  Try to massage your tummy area, about 2 fingers above your belly button, you have to push really quite hard, and you will feel a valve and it should feel kinda weird, not really hurt, just weird..... start from the right side, massage around the belly button, then down the left side ( right in, left out)  LOL  ........

This is what I do, the chiropractor told me about this and it does seem to work.

I would check with the GP though, do you feel bunged up?

Hope this helps.....Prunes are a good thing too, they have become my good friend...LOL

I had pain there when I had kidney stone s/s..........google kidney stones for symptoms......I had stomach pain (thought it was constipation), pelvic area, back pain and heart burn from it.  I battled it for almost 2 yrs before it "showed" itself!
