shocking in my sleep

well I have been living with fibermyaliga 6 years ago and 2 weeks ago in the middle of sleep one night I was violent schocked in my sleep it was like someone stuck a cattle prod to me to wake me up. when I came out of shock I was crying from pain and it has happend for the third time now in 2 weeks im scared to sleep now also I have uncontroled movments all day and its getting worse im scared to tell my nuroligost cause it juse seems the newer the sptms the newer the meds. HELP in scared to sleep.                   christina 35 in tennesse

I know this might sound like a stupid questions..but humor me anyways..Do you know if you neck was bent down when you felt this shock? When you bend your neck down towards your chest now, is there any funny sensations, similar to what you felt? Was the shock all over your body? Does it only occur when you are sleeping?

I would do as supermum_ms has suggested, and at least have it investigated. It won't do your body any good, if you can't sleep because of what is happening. I hope your doctors can figure this all out for you.

Hi, I notice from your bio you think you might have MS, it would be helpful if you told us what is happening to you and why you think it could be MS.

I would recommend you do contact your neurologist or GP, it is possible that one of the drugs your on is causing this to happen, or something else is going on that needs to be investigated. It is not good to be scared to sleep, your obviously anxious about the not knowing so it is in your best interest to get it checked out, pick up the phone and make an appt for the sooner the better.
