worried about my arm, again

Hi

I have previously posted about my arm pain but wondered again if anyone could help or advice or give an inkling if it is a result of ms. It started last night around my shoulder area and quickly made nearly the whole arm ache, my arm muscle was flinching during this time and making my fingers twitch on there own. It really is a horrible ache/tight burning pain. I took a painkiller which eased it off and I woke with it hurting again this morning but not nearly as bad. I have been left with a very sore bruised elbow although it isn't really bruised just feels like it is. Also after the pain clears I am left with a very tired arm, just carrying a light bag makes it ache as though I have been weightlifting.

Thanks for your help. Stay well.

Hi

I do have many symptoms that could be neurological, I see my neuro today. Balance is a major one for me, numbness and tingles of the feet legs and arms, tiredness that comes on sudden and leaves sudden. The list is endless really. This arm thing is a relatively new symptom of mine. I have been posting on this site since 2010. I couldn't quite believe it has been so long, 2 years. Looking back my symptoms have progressed and changed. I also get terrible headpains and neuralgia type pain, which is the reason I saw a neuro in the first place just for headaches. Then my symptoms have grew and grew. I have a review today so I am taking a list of symptoms with me. Hopefully I will get somwhere today. Thanks for your time.

Have you had any tests done?   Any other symptoms?   No one here is a doctor...  we can share our experiences and what we've done and/or have been thru, but do not think anyone could say yes or no...

I will commit to maybe!   But it could be a lot of things, even something simple as a pinched nerve.   Have you talked to your doctor about what is going on?

I have major involvement with my left arm and hand, have from the very beginning and one thing I can say is that no painkiller, muscle relaxer or even Lyrica never touched the discomfort, numbeness, tingling, muscle spasms, etc....   Not saying that is a definitive yes or no, just in my personal experience, no type of pain management did a thing to help...

I would encourage you to talk to your doctor and consider getting an MRI to see if anything shows up in the C and T spine area to point to any type of nerve involvement.

Good luck!!
