3yrs of varied symptoms - what to do next?

37 y.o. male – Since March ‘06, experienced litany of neurological issues. Most sensory (paresthesias & transient sensation reduction), Slight trouble swallowing before & felt a little “tongue tied”. Also have fasciculations all over body (onset around fall ’06 - not present in flexed muscle - only when relaxed). 3x since ’06, had strange sensation upon flexing my neck - does not radiate down spine-felt like small section of the skin vibrated. Recently, noticed difficulty maintaining erection. Right testicle is much lower than the left & is not nearly as responsive as left upon contraction of PC muscle. Developed anisocoria (maybe 1 – 1.5mm) in one eye with mild ptosis.  Vision sometimes “shaky” ( wiggles) when looking @ complex patterns (e.g. oriental rugs) for 1yr. In low light, viewing bright lights vs dark backgrounds (think traffic lights at night or Christmas tree lights) I get a quick “reflex” flash. Appears as circle of glare surrounding light source (maybe 3x as large) then rapidly shrinks down to size of the source. Happens after I blink or if focus is away from the light & then moves back to light source. Only happens wearing contacts, not glasses. Have been to 3 neurologists, nationally known MS DR & toxicologist. Have had the normal workup several times (lyme, thyroid, diabetes, B12, etc. - normal). Have had three MRI’s of head & neck (last was July ’08 & post development of anisocoria / ptosis) – all clear. I have had EMG (leg, arm, etc.) with normal findings. All Dr’s ruled out the bad stuff (MS, ALS), have said my neuro exam is perfect. No other explanation for symptoms. Physically, I in great shape (no issues with walking, movement, can bench 1.5x my weight & squat 2x my weight). So, 1) should Ibe concerned about MS, ALS, etc. given clear MRI x 3 & DR’s opinions, 2) Care to hazard guess as to what is causing these things, 3) could this be psychosomatic, 4) What would you do next if you were in my shoes?

If I was in your shoes, I would do the following pranayam.
Your mind will relax, and some of your symptoms will start to reduce in days.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 15 to 30  minutes twice a day.
Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 20 to 30 minutes twice a day. Children under 15 years – do 5 to 10 minutes twice a day.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Dear Friend,
Many thanks for a detailed post.
Please find my answers -
1) should Ibe concerned about MS, ALS, etc. given clear MRI x 3 & DR’s opinions,
Absolutely not. If all the treating doctors are sure that there is no element of MS, then we need not be worrying about the same.

2) Care to hazard guess as to what is causing these things, 3) could this be psychosomatic,
These 2 questions are inter-related and the answer appears "Yes".
It's at the subconscious level where the problem is lying.Whenever we think too much about the same, we start getting few symptoms.
So stop thinking about it.

4) What would you do next if you were in my shoes?
I would go out on a long vacation...

I hope you got the answers,
Please discuss, if you need further clarifications.
Regards...
