Thanks for responding! I'm going to call her office tomorrow. I've been considering asking about the CA125 blood test. What are your thoughts? I have been dealing with cysts since I was a teenager and now I am 32. As a result of the cysts I had to have an ovary removed along with the fallopin tube, etc.
Hi there.
The scar tissue may indeed be the cause of the pain, especially if nerve endings are affected during the operation. The risk of having chronic pain is increased during repeated surgeries. I suggest that you ask your doctor regarding pain medications that would address a neuropathic type of pain (such as gabapentin or lyrica). This might address the pain better. I also suggest that you report to your doctor any changes in the pain character that can point out to a different problem.
Regards and God bless.
