why cant i get rid of this anxiety, i get these wierd unexplainable rushes from my chest to my head, which leaves me in a state of confusion, i'm on clonazepam 0.5 3 times aday, which is seeming too help but those days im not taking it i feel like im gonna die. i've had blood work done the only thing that has come back is low potassium , could i have a heart defect that the ECG isnt picking up. ???

thank you very much that gives me something to think about, I don't understand what Hypokalemia means, I've tried looking it up and no result. I've signed up with Mental health for some counseling. Umm i don't know if this helps but i drink a lot of V8 juice which is rich in veggies and other good things fiber and stuff,... just what is it when i get these undescrible rushes from my chest too my head whats that called ? I've had every test done in the book besides a ECHO cardio gram, and a Chest CT scan and another question if u dont mind me asking why do i get repeat sinusitis never had them before but they started in early Feb 2008 that haven't gone away! any light you can shead me

Thanks for writing in.
Hypokalemia can cause muscle weakness, muscle pain, constipation and heart irregularities. I would suggest you to take plenty of fresh fruit juices since they are a rich source of potassium.
Your symptoms seem to be due to excessive anxiety. Please make sure you take your medication everyday. Do not stop Clonazepam on your own as you may get withdrawal symptoms which will make you feel worse.
Also practice some breathing exercises and meditation.
