You will need to empty your brain from useless knowledge. This means doing some meditation.  Breathing exercises , whilst you breath , threw the nose deep inhilation as much as your lungs can stand, breathing out through the mouth as if you were breathing threw a drinking straw . Start counting from 1 - 10 . Should  a thaught pop up in your brain , start counting all over from 1. This exercise is so that you learn to relax the brain by clearing all thought from your mind.
You are  going to do this  for 5 minutes a day and gradually build it up.
This exercise is done to clear your mind as if your we defragmenting your pc.  It gives the brain room to process new information. Deleting useless info,  Hence giving the brain more room to take in new information.

Good luck
