Hello im 15 years old.
Past History-- headaches/ migranes , minocycline for acne

What happened-- I smoked weed with my friends , i passed out but before i remember feeling vains in my head pump blood of something. I woke up with as if i was out of my body, heart pumping fast to me, kind of floating in and out of counsiousness, slurred speach , didnt know what i was saying , i would feel my head and it would feel very weird

Now: this "out of it" feeling has been going on for 2.5 months and the doctors took blood tests all came back normal, thats it besides prescriptions that did not help. i feel out of my body, ive been depressed, vision has been more blurry, some certain noises hurt my ears, dizzy, off balance while standing, trouble concentrating, memory is not too good. I need help ! i will answer any questions feel free to ask if you think you know what this feeling is. I am never going to make a mistake in my life like that again.

I have had several friends, on several different occasions, have panic attacks and/or feelings of being "out of it" when they mixed marijuana and minocycline. Try smoking a much smaller amount instead, or skipping your minocycline dose (with dr. supervision) to see if you still feel the same negative effects when you smoke. Good luck to you!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello dear and welcome to the medhelp forum. Marijuana or weeds smoking can cause multiple effects and interactions in the brain when it binds with the specific receptors. It can influence memory, thinking, and ability to concentrate, sensory perception and cause incoordinated movements. This interferes with your ability to solve problems, and effect can last even for weeks after the acute effects wane off. It increases the heart rate, interfere with sinus rhythm causing palpitations and arrhythmias. I suggest that you do not repeat the weeds smoke. The effects have already persisted for more than 2 months from one smoke. Consult a neurologist or a psychiatrist to help in the supportive management of the symptoms and deaddiction counseling. Wishing you all the best.
