Bell's Palsy

I got bell's palsy after being hit in the face several times.  I'm still disfigured 7 months after and can't smile well.  Is there going to be any improvement in the future?  will taking acyclovir or prednisone help?
I just took 5 days of prednisone and it didn't seem to do anything

acyclovir+prednisone is shown to help BP early on

Does ur INS require a referral? Or can u just make an appointment?

So u currently have a trach? or was this for a surgery?

I am not a medical professional so I can not comment if that is a bad scenario  or not....wish I did know a bit more about this.

Being positive can have an effect on ur medical condition as u relax....stress with ne condition will cause u to feel worse.

Keep me posted on what u find out.

yeah I saw some people are disfigured for life from BP, maybe I will be too!

yeah MRI showed cyst in my clivus of 1.3mm diameter eroding the cortex, isn't that really bad?

one dr. ignored me and refused to treat me and the other ignored me too and didn't give me medication, so arrogant

I'm still disfigured, will never be the same, already crippled from sleep apnea

Hi...sorry u r having this issue, but it is possible to have lasting effects from Bells Palsy......

And it is possible it just may take longer for ur to subside, I would say try to relax and focus on something else for a while, and see if it relaxes on its own.......

May I ask what ur Drs have said?
