terrible sudden headaches

My boyfriend is 25 years old and recently he had a sudden terrible pain in his head which caused him to black out. When he woke up he was covered in sweat and threw up. Since this happened he has had other similar headaches but they have not been as severe but still extremely painful and sudden. He is fine one minute and then all of a sudden he is in tremendous pain and throws up. The last two times it has happened during sex. I don't know if this has anything to do with it.
I am worried that it is something serious but he has no insurance and won't get himself checked out.

Hello.

I am sorry if I scared you by not mentioning other possibilities. Of course, there are other conditions to be considered. He may have inner ear pathology.

Make sure you get his blood pressure checked. His age does not go with high blood pressure, these days, hypertension strikes at a younger age.

Hello.

You should ask him to consult a neurologist if he has not done so. There is a possibility of a brain tumor. The symptoms of nausea, vomiting and headache are typical. Fainting episodes are also quite characteristic of tumor.

He should also check his blood pressure.
