Hi there. I think it’s a typing error and you meant rheumatoid arthritis. Peripheral neuropathy is a complication associated with rheumatoid arthritis. Also rule out other causes of neuropathy like diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, vitamin B12 deficiency etc. Consult a neurologist for detailed clinical evaluation and management. Take proper foot care like never walk barefooted, keep them dry and covered and avoid any injuries. Take care.
Burning feet was the first sign of MS for me. For years I used iced cold towels with a fan blowing against my feet to sleep. Of course, I didn't visit a doctor. In a few years it disappeared and became iced cold feet. I wish you luck on your journey to find the answer.
I did mean Rheumatoid arthritis. Thank you. I currently see a neurologist/pain management doctor I have not told him of these new sysmtoms, I will. I just got a brain MRI and will receive the results today. I will however check out the other causes you mentioned. The burning does not happen all the time and in just one foot. I do not know my faminly history because I was adopted. Thank you again.
