COULD THIS BE VAGUS NERVE ? VERY WORRIED !! PLEASE HELP !

I am a 39 yr old female, with the following problem...I feel numb when I go to the bathroom....not when I urinate, but the other. I have noticed this get worse in the last few weeks, and really bad in the last 3 days. I only go a small amount,. but can't push the rest out. I am NOT constipated- just numb feeling from my stomach down. I have been on lortab 10 mg avg about 1 & 1/2 - 2 per day for severy hip and back pain, and am wondering if that is the cause of vagus nerve depression. I also have really bad weakness in left arm and also, pain behind left eye. Like I said,I am not constipated, just don't feel like when I bear down, anything is working. Very weak, and unable to push. I had a very small normal stool this morning...but the numbness is bad- feel like I am paralyzed. any help would be appreciated- I just left dr & he he gave me rx for fibercon, but again, am not constipated. I know vagus nerve is what makes you go to the b-room (controls peristalsis)

Sometimes I think things need to get worse to force you to panic and find answers - maybe that is how God helps some people.  I was thinking that I should have mentioned celiac disease to you in my other posting.  Because I was having  that feeling like I couldn't feel anything happening down there for several weeks, on and off.
Then when I stuck with the celiac diet (which I ashamedly cheat on), I started feeling all the time.  There are so many deficiencies assoc. with celiac disease.  B12 is one of them - big neurological vitamin - deficiency can mimic MS.  Just a thought!  I hope this is your answer.  Try the diet - if you need help with it, leave me a message.  Even your vitamins and medications have to be gluten free.  I'll check this posting to see how you are doing.

Thank you for your comment ;.) I have wondered if celiac/ Not very well versed in it, but I think I would have to avoid all gluten, wheat products, would have to research it. My dr told me to take laxatives, he does'nt know what's wrong, but has suspected MS. I don't think I have MS, although I do have nerve damage. I also have tight muscles on both sides & feel like the muscle is being ripped off my hips...very, very very painful, I am a big believer in Christ, but I have to be honest. Lately, I have been angry. I have prayed so hard for the last few years, and nothing. well, I can't say NOTHING, but I dont' understand why this would happen. I have asked HIM to heal me, and the more I ask, the worse I am getting. I am glad that you got relief....hang in there and say a prayer for me too ! Take care! !!

that is what happened to me and then it stopped. I have been using enemas for 8 months. The DR said it is CELIAC DISEASE. 6-8% get nuerological symptoms and thier bowels die if they dont stay on the diet. It is irreversable. So I went to the Zadock church and they believe in hands on faith healing. I have resorted to god. I had a hands on healing and came home with cramps. I didnt know what they were. hahhaa! poopoo cramps! I had to go! I had forgotton what it felt like! I went into the bathroom and had my 1st movement in 8 months.
