I HAD A FALL FEB OF 08 WHICH I HIT MY FOREHEAD AND BRUISE MY LEFT ELBOW.  I WAS SENT TO GET A CATSCAN OF MY HEAD AND MY PCP TOLD ME I HAD JUST INFLAMMATION AND GAVE ME SOME MEDS TO TAKE PLUS I HAD A SM HOLE IN MY EAR...WELL I HAVE HAD OTHER FALLS BEFORE THIS ONE AND NEVER HAVE I EXPERINCE HEADACHES THEY HAVE BEEN COMING AND GOING BUT WHEN I GET THEM MY EYELIDS FEEL VERY HEAVY, AND I GET REAL DIZZNESS LIKE WHERE EVER I AM I WENT TO JUST GO TO SLEEP...I'M SO TRIED ALL THE TIME AND THIS ISN'T ME...I'M A GOOPERSON BUT RIGHT NOW I JUST WANT TO BE LAYING DOWN WITH MY HEAD UP IT SEEM LIKE IF I HAVE A SINUS PROBLEM BUT I DO GET SINUS BUT THESE SYSTOMS ARE DIFFERENCE.  I HAVE ALL THE SYSTOMS OF A CEREBRAL SPINAL LEAK...I HAVE AN APPT WITH MY HEART DR.  BECUASE I HAD A ABNORMAL EKG AND THEN HE DID A CATH AND FOUND A VERY SMALL BLOCKAGE THAT HE SAID NOT EVEN A STENT WOULD FIT...SO HE JUST SAID TO TAKE IT EASY AND RAISE MY BLOOD PRESSURE MED...NOW I'M SCH. W/A NUEROLOGIST THE END OF MAY BUT IT SEEMS THAT MY HEADACHES ARE COMING ON DAILY...WHAT DO YOU ADVISE...I HAVE NEVER HAD HEADACHES.. THANKS

Hi, probably these are concussion symptoms. “The brain is surrounded by cerebrospinal fluid, one of the functions of which is to protect it from light trauma, but more severe impacts or the forces associated with rapid acceleration and deceleration may not be absorbed by this cushion. Concussion may be caused by impact forces, in which the head strikes or is struck by something, or impulsive forces, in which the head moves without itself being subject to blunt trauma (for example, when the chest hits something and the head snaps forward).
Forces may cause linear, rotational, or angular movement of the brain, or a combination of these types of motion. In rotational movement, the head turns around its center of gravity, and in angular movement it turns on an axis other than its center of gravity.
