Clear water like fluid leaking from my nose.

Hello!
I was playng badminton today. After I finished the game this clear fluid started leaking out of my nose. In a couple of seconds it stopped. Should I be concerned?

Hi there,
CSF is clear and has slightly metallic taste. If you can catch some it can be tested to see if it has beta transferrin in it.

Ive had many leak work ups. In several,, the doc inserted three pledglets, into various sinuses thru each nostril. They r these cottony things with a string, to catch the fluid. it's not pretty having those nose tampons hanging out of your schnogger but....it's one way.

I'm a csf leaker/pseudo tumor pt. I've had two skull base surgeries to patch already just for that. I'm leaking again, now the r ear. The docs are discussing a shunt for the millionth time again.

It could be liquified mucus from your sinuses. If it does not continue to happen again I would forget about it.

Hi, I remember reading something like this here before at the ms forum. Then somebody said it could possibly be a fluid from the spine/brain I don´t remember the English word. So I would speak to a doctor, just to be on the save side.
