Cough headache?

Ok, so this may be a dumb question, but nobody will help me with an answer so I turn to the internet.  I have a cavernous angioma in the brainstem.  I have a venous malformation in the front temporal lobe. I have also been fighting what appears to be a serious cold for a few days.  Today as I am coughing my head hurts so bad.  I am feeling very seizure like also after a coughing fit.  Is this cough hurting me and if so, what should I be doing?  After all, its just a cold right?

thank you for your reply.  I have contacted the family doctor kind of.  They say they will call back in 24 hours.  I live on an army post so getting medical treatment is horrible here, believe it or not.  I can't get for another three weeks.  By the time that gets here I hopefully will be over this.  It's the head pain that is the worst when I cough.  It has brought me to tears.

Have you called your family doctor?  If it were to get worse would you call someone to take you to emergency room?
