Failing Body

. Im 26 i had just lost 80 pounds to get down to 286 and was physically strong going to the gym 5 days a week. 5 weeks ago i had some unprotected form of sex for the first time, with a girl who has had sex with multiple guys unprotected without getting tested. From that point on Ive had night sweats, unexplained weight loss of 15 pounds in a month, poster for hiv acute affection/as well as aids symptoms. neurology wise Im having problems ive never had previously. Cant get an erection, i used to crap after eating a lot pretty quick, now i can eat food all day lots of it and have to force myself to go because the urge is not there. And it doesnt come out flutently it takes me about ten mins and it comes out at like 6 different times when i force it. Tingling in my arms, legs, abdominal pain which has lead to numbness in my left shoulder at times. I got an ultrasound on my pelvic area and abdominal and it was all clean. My blood work came up clean after 21 days and my numbers were all good. I just pretty much feel like im dying. Is it possible that my body neurologically could fail this quick?

I agree with the doctor, perhaps get retested for STDs just to make sure, and I also agree anxiety is doing this.  Could be what's going on is fear.  Fear of things, like contracting a sex infection, can be significant, altho at least you went to a doc and found out you should be okay, but could be another check would reassure you.  Take a little time to do something relaxing, do some deep breathing when you get nervous, and just realize fear is doing this to you.  And actually, I think it's good you lost even MORE weight!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include psychological stress/ anxiety, fatigue, micronutrient deficiencies, hormonal/ endocrine abnormalities, infections etc. Though none of the symptoms specifically point towards an acute infection and sound more like anxiety, I would suggest getting tested for STDs. It is also advised to consult a primary care physician for an evaluation of your symptoms. After a cause is identified, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
