Head Numbness

I have an area on the right side (only one time was is on the left side) of my head above and behind m ear that has a numbing sensation. It is approx. 2 to 3 inches in diameter.  It feels similar when my hand of foot "goes to sleep". I is not constant, it comes and goes probably two or three times per week. Should I be concerned? Thank you for your help.

Hi, Thank you for your question. It appears that head numbness symptoms could occur due to migraine, injury to a nerve, pressure on spinal or peripheral nerves (neuropathy), vitamin deficiency, lack of blood supply due to artery block, viral infection and use of certain medications.  Please consult your doctor to get all these possibilities evaluation in your case for further assessment. Hope this helps.
