H1N1 Vaccine and Parsonage Turner Syndrome

My wife received the H1N1 Vaccine two weeks ago. Two days later she awoke with classic symptoms of Paronage Turner Syndrome. I am a neurologist myself. It is now two weeks later and she is still in exquiste pain and on multipe meds. She has had an MRI of her brachial plexus and C-spine and all were normal. She now has pain referred down to her lateral forearm and thumb that is 10/10. I had expected to see some relief by now but there appears to be no end in site to the unremitting pain. She is a Cardiologist and now is developing mild weakness in the hand and can no longer Cath. I do believe she had the H1N1 virus at the time that my son had documented H1N1 but she chose to get the vaccine anyway. Any suggestions? Any Thought? We live in Chattanooga Tn and are seeking a true specialist in the field we can consult as I do very little peripheral work.
Thanks?

Well,I'm no specialist, but if you loosen the muscles from tip of finger to neck,it should relieve some pain. Just use your finger and add pressure, figure out which are tensed, and see if you can relieve tension by rubbing them. If that doesn't help...well,I tried =] (is not in any way a doctor, this is just an advice that I have found to work with muscle pain and delayed reactions) And the best part of that is,it can only help :P

I have the same thing from an influenza vaccination I received in 11/2008. Contact Dr. Michael Gofeld at the UWMC Pain clinic. He is an expert on this. Also contact Dr. William Berg at Minor and James, he, too is well versed. FINALLY Contact NVICP and get an attorney to adjudicate the damages. Contact Lee Burdette.
