Thank you.  I have actually gone almsot three months without a decent nights sleep.  Ever since the granaml seizure.  My husband thinks I am having seizures in my sleep because I do alot of jerking movements with my arm and my feet.  All of this is somewhat new.  thank you for responding.  I appreciate it.

Depending on the relationship you have with your doctor, I would give them a call.  If you have been on the medication for 6 days now, and are still having issues sleeping, I would probably go in to see them.

I have been dispensing these two medications as a nurse for the past 3 years on a pretty regular basis(Although in a different population[children]), and have not seen insomnia as a side effect.  If it was earlier, I would recommend you try lifestyle modifications to adjust your body to work with the medication, if that is what is causing your sleeping problems.  However, six days is awhile to go without sleep....

Give them a call.
