Hi!

Actually you cannot control your symptoms as they are probably due to the withdrawal effects of Xanax. Please do not stop the drug on your own even for a day. When your doctor wants to stop it, he/she will slowly taper the dose over a period of few weeks.  Inform your doctor about the withdrawal effects you feel when you stop Xanax.  Hope this helps. Take care!
