How scared should I be?

I have been talking to another member on here who has dealt with AVM.  I did some reasearch and my question is, Can AVM cause plurisy pains due to it being related to the flow of blood from Heart to brain?  I still have plurisy pains from time to time and have had EKG and cardio enzymes which checked  out and all looked good back in Jan.  But I am still trying to figure out what the headaches are from.  It's looking to be a combination of newly found astigmatisms and left over cluster headaches from my severe flu back in Jan.  I don't have any other related symptoms from the headaches but I still have them.  My headaches are normally all day but have sometimes not started till late afternoon and they can still be treated with OTC pain meds but I have had them now since Feb.  I don't carry insurance and grasping at straws is starting to get exspensive.  At what point does it become a concern enough to demand CT or MRI?   I just some insight on how scared I should be.  My mother laughs at me and says I read to much because I goto WEBMD and after looking at symptom checker I think im suffering from everything ( shes right)  3 months ago I told her minus the fact women dont have scotums, I had all other sypmtoms of testicluar cancer...( yes I know it's kinda funny when you think about it) Im just running out of ideas and getting a little tired of being sick and tired.  God bless To you all and Ty

Hi Doctor,I had radiation for my avm this past january,my avm is on my left parietal lobe and is 32 mm in size, Ive never had a bleed thank god and came across it during a cat scan in November of last year,I have always had such headaches but didnt know why, after the radiation I now get sharp pains just above my left ear and this month I am starting to see flashing in my upper left eye when looking out, they come and go besides this dang heartbeat sound I get in my ears all the time. I am now going for an mri/mra October 6th because of the pains and flashs I get,Could I still have a bleed even if I had radiation, gamma knife treatment and why would I have these flashes now,im concerned  and dont know what to think about them, never in my life,i mean ever ,,did I have pains on the side of my head till the radiation, could this be a good thing, maybe its shutting down, dont know what to think!! any idea????

Hello Dear,
AVM is an abnormal connection between the arteries and the veins of the brain.Usually there are no symptoms but there could be headache, seizures, weakness, numbness, tinnitus.A ruptured AVM causes emergency and sudden collapse if not treated in time.Pleurisy pains have no connection with the AVM .Do not be anxious and go in for  MRI to know the present pathological state.
