Lack of Sweat in 6 year old girl

There was no topic that fit.  My 6 year old daughter does not sweat.  I read that it could be neurological in nature. Is there a solution to her problem?  What should I do to find out what can be done?  Where should I begin?

Thank you.

Hello. I suffered from anhydrosis for about 2 years.I found that having certain vitamin deficiencies may cause your condition. Try vitamin B12, biotin, and folic acid (vitamins effecting the nervous sytem). Hope that will help you.

Hello Dear,
Lack of sweat could be just a normal variation in your daughter’s body cooling mechanism or there could be the following possibilities-
skin diseases or conditions that can block or clog sweat ducts ,injury to the skin and sweat glands, including burns ,dehydration and heat stroke ,malfunctions of the hypothalamus (the area of the brain that regulates temperature), or other neurological conditions, thyroid gland problems ,use of certain medications .
Depending on the cause of lack of sweat or anhidrosis, treatments and prognosis can vary. You should consult a pediatrician and discuss with him.
