MRI diffuse supratentorial and Cerebellar Volume Loss.

What is csf hypotension and why do I need a lumbar puncture and blood patch.

If it's shown that you have a spinal fluid leak they may start with a Brian MRI and notice signs like Chiari (cerebral tonsils sagging) or other issies.  This indicates a leak.

Usually some follow up with a CT Myelogram but it's sometimes wise to not do such an go for an epidural blood patch..  this will attempt to seal the leak and cure symptoms.

CSF leaks are not fun!  Stick with the course.  

- bad epidural
- bone spur
- stenosis
- car accident with the above
