Hi, Thank you for your question. I can understand your worrying concern about long term migraine headaches that may be most likely reason of your present symptoms and no sure success treatments that you have tried. The mainstay of the migraine treatment is always to identify the triggering factors and to avoid them. Triggering factors that may induce your migraine attack may be contraceptive pills, stress or depression, bright lights, loud noise and traveling. Other factors could be different foods such as cheese, chocolate, alcohol and even few fruits. Few women experience headache more commonly during the time of their menstrual periods & at the time of hormonal imbalance. I would suggest careful record of events that have proceeded with the attack and avoid those factors. In addition, try to rest in a dark & quiet room, meditate, have a balanced diet and avoid taking unnecessary drugs. Even then if you suffer continuous headache, please arrange an appointment with a neurologist right away who will evaluate the further underlying disorders here that may be the main reasons of your migraine attacks and can provide you an appropriate treatment. Hope this information proves helpful to you. Take Care & Regards!!!
Has any doctor done an EMG to see if there is nerve damage or impairment?
Is it an insurance issue that because it is due to an injury, you keep getting passed around?
I have suffered from migraines for many years and at times very severe. I go to an advanced proficiency activator chiropractor who has helped me tremendously. You may have to look one up online. I also take imitrex tablets and injections when times are rough and the chiropractor is not available. I travel a distance to him.
not sure what EMG is? I have good insuarnce covarage. I am wondering if the pending lawsuit is making things harder for me to get treatment. As U have already had to have shouder surgery that did not fix the pain problem however I have much more use of my are and shouilder. Yes it is a good possibilty. thanks
I have imitrex in my cabinet however that didnt work on me. Max all worked but I was unable to funtion for about 8 hours and within a half and hour hit me again. Sometime acupunture helps, lately nothing has been helping though. I willl see about the chiropractor. thanks
I will see about getting a different neurologist. Sometimes I feel like i am losing my mind the last couple of years. thanks
