Neck pain after craniotomy

Ironically i had an aneurysm rupture on 10-10-10.At the age of 34,I had the clipping surgery done on right side on 3-11.The past three years since,I have had pain in the surgery area that moves at times to my right eye. Most times it stays around a 5 in pain...but atleast a couple days a week it is a 10 or more. The incision site is sunk in and feels tight quite often.I try stretchin and theres alot of popping and crackin sounds. My Dr. Has done MRA and its fine.Have tried muscle relaxers, robaxin, and antidepressants to help me sleep but its like I am immune to it all.Could I get any ideas to get my Dr.to try to find out what the problem could be and medications to relieve the pain.thank you so much...

I, too, had a crainiotomy (from a hemorrhagic stroke in my 30's) and very bad neck pain also. Numerous MRIs and MRAs were done, but nothing was found. I chalked it up to scar tissue. There isn't any drugs to really help. Just keep doing neck stretches to help ease the pain.
