Nerve Damage in My Foot from Cut???

I was out the other night and my friend broken a wine glass which cut the top of my foot. Now two of my toes next to my pinky toe are numb like my foot is asleep and it feel like there is an invisible string in my foot that give me a pins and needles sensation from anything to put on sock, moving my foot the wrong way even scratching my ankle sends weird sensations down my foot. The area where it was cut also still has a raised bump even though it is over a week old....nit sure if there still might be glass in there. Could this be nerve damage and whatever it is, is it correctable?

Recently, I stepped on a broken glass and it went so deep that is cut my tendons and nerves. It’s not permanent I had surgery, but my toes are still numb and when sth touches them it’s like sth poking them. The nerve grows back itself but there may be some difficulties and not grow back right, so the best to do is have a surgery. But, it takes some time before the numbness leaves.

It’s been a few years, but did anyone find out if this nerve damage is permanent? Because I had broken glass dropped on the top of my foot and the muscle up to my big toe is currently numb and it’s been two days now.

whats the best way to handle broken glass that has been left in both my feet for well over a month.  Ive come to find many shards of glass buried under layers of skin. I have spent more time than I want to admit on performing my own at home surgery, but, the pain is ridiculous.  I mean out of control.  What do I do?????????????

I did the same thing, but dropped a food processor blade on my foot.  I have the same symptoms as you report.  Did you get an answer from this forum?
