Thats great news kitlyn. still watching your posts i dont see the specialist til feb but my headaches are a little better. the symtoms are scary so the less of them the better. wish you the best. you are a kind person
I didn't think that at all! I think Jmcc was making a general statement as well. Mine was a general statement too. It's just so difficult to get a question posted. I would feel guilty if I kept posting and others didn't get a chance. I would remove my post. The neuro is obviously very, very busy right now seeing sick patients.
Patsy,
I hope you don't think I said what I did to Kitlyn (about not needing to apologize) because I was responding to what YOU wrote, I wasn't! I was responding to JCmcc's post. He/she seemed to imply that Kitlyn was over-posting, but perhaps JCmcc was making a general statement about some people who over-post, and not Kitlyn in particular. I don't know; it's confusing online. Also, JCmcc seems to be getting this board confused with the doctor-patient forum, but perhaps the post originally did show up over there in the wrong place as he/she said.
I agree completely that those who post a question more than twice in a six-month period of time on the doc-patient forum should not have their posts put on the board. It's against the rules and they need to give everyone a chance to get their questions answered; it's only fair. I understand Jcmcc's frustration about getting in a quesstion, but it has nothing to do with Kitlyn and actually nothing to do with this forum either.
Thanks and First off, this post showed up in the main questions section first and they moved it.
I am not a monster contrary to popular opinion.
You didn't over post. It wasn't you I was referring to. We can all post as much as we want over here.
Tyall; I do keep that in mind , and i never am selfish in my postings. I just wa sin such a bad health state of mind and also was so sick. Not sued to being ill. I will not ove rpost. I have also tried many times to post to ask a DR", a question but is very hard to get through. I am sorry again if i over posted , i know theres alot of very very ill people out there. K
Kitlyn,
You didn't over-post and don't need to apologize for anything. This forum, from my understanding from reading the rules, does not limit how many times you can post or respond to posts; it is the *doctor-patient* forum where one is limited to two questions to the doctor in a six-month period of time-and that is so everyone has a chance to ask the CCF doctor a question. This is the patient-patient forum and you can post all you want (so long as no spamming, etc.). You also don't have to ask a question every time; it can be to just let others know how you are doing, test results, etc.
By the way, congratulations on the recent more favorable MRI results. I'm glad the doctors don't think you have a brain tumor now. I hope you don't have MS either and that you start to feel better soon.
In order to post a question, I literally had to sit in front of the computer from the time I got up to about 11am. I hit the "post question" about every fifteen minutes or so until I got it. I did it on my day off. It still took me several weeks to post. I followed the rules though. I posted about 7 months prior to my Dec. post. There are people who just post over and over again and I think the moderators should delete these questions. I wonder if they know about it.
JCmcc, anyone can post on *this* forum (the patient-to-patient one) and it doesn't have to be in the form of a question and there is no limit to posting (as long as you aren't spamming). It can be just to share info, etc. The doctor-patient forum where the CCF doctor responds to individual questions is the forum that is limited to two questions in a six month period per person, I believe, and that is the one that you probably have tried repeatedly to post on and couldn't get through--the message says something like, "Sorry, it's full." I know, I tried for four months and unexpectedly got through a couple weeks ago around 9 a.m.
If you really want to post a question, you have to try between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., eastern time. Thats when I finally was able to post.
First off, this is tremendous news. And, I am glad for you.
May I use this forum though to make a point?
I have been trying to post a question on here for over a year and have never been able to do it, it is always full.
I am bothered when I see the same people, some how, posting over and over again when it is strictly against the rules.
This is a place for questions, support comes in the wake of that question, but rather not a place to just give news.
It may seem rude. It is not. I am bothered because when I was so sick-I was never able to post a question on here and yet-so many do it over and over again.
Just a side note,
JCmcc.
Thats awesome news,no tumor.
MS is livable and manageable. Some days not tolerable but thats okay.
