No relief, what to do..

I have been experiencing these severe headaches.. like migraines for about a month and a half or more now and keep getting treated for just migraines, but the problem is.. the pain starts between my shoulder blades (like in my spine) then goes up through my neck then into my head, so yes I am experiencing migraines, but the pain lies more in my neck and back, so I don't know who I need to see or what I should do, because none of it is helping me and I am in so much pain all the time. Meds do not work at all since they are giving me preventative migraine medicine and what not. If anyone has been through this I would love some advice on what I should do.

Hello Dear,
You should consult an orthopedic physician for treatment of the back arthritis.You can consult a physiotherapist for pain management.Taking Vitamin B supplementation and  glucosamine will prevent further degeneration of the spine.

Yeah, I have had MRI's done and X-Rays of my back in the hospital and CT scan done of my head and so far the only thing anyone has told me was that I had some arthritis in my back, but the pain is so severe and doing the neck exercises just make it worse for me, so that's why I wasn't sure if I should see an orthopedist or a neurosurgeon because my the neurologist I have already seen is only treating me for migraines and is not doing anything for the pain in my back/neck.

You should see an orthopedic doctor to rule out cervical spondylosis as your symptoms correspond to it.You should go in for an x-ray to see any pathology.You can also consult a physical therapist for pain management.Neck exercises will help you.
