Hi there. An electronystagmogram measures normal eye movement and involuntary rapid eye movements or nystagmus. It also checks the muscles controlling eye movements. ENG checks the eyes, inner ears, brain, and nerves connecting them that are important in keeping your balance and position sense. Normal results are if there is no abnormal involuntary eye movements’ during the test. Abnormal test are nystagmus with head turning that does not go away in a specific or normal length of time. These may indicate meneire’s disease, multiple sclerosis or labyrinthitis is present or a stroke. Consult your neurologist for evaluation and correlation. Take care.
Yeah, I know about the Tech....but i just thought it was funny and a little unusual.
I don't have an appointment for a week, so I was hoping someone else would have experienced this.

This could mean a number of things that the your ENT Specialist or Neurologist will have to figure out. The findings will tell him if the problem is coming from your brain or inner ear.
Techs are techs. There are not there to give you a diagnosis or to comment. They are there just to complete the testing only. So, I would not put too much emphasis on their facial expressions, what they said, etc.
