PINS, NEEDLES,

I am a 68 year old man in good health with the exception of osteo-arthritis in my lower back.  I have had pins and needles in both hands and burning sensations
in both forearms for the past 2 1/2 years.  Also, I have very little feeling
in my fingers. This happened suddenly for no reason. I do not have diabetes. I do not have neuropathy.  My MRI’S show no brain damage.  I have been to physicians, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, etc;.  No one can give me any reason for this to have happened or recommend any treatment. My question is in regards to the pins, needles, loss of feelings in my fingers, and burning in my forearms.
Do you know of anyone who has or has had this medical condition?
Could you recommend me to someone, or have you ever heard of this?

I have constant pins and needles in my left arm and have done for two years. Have you been tested for MS (multiple sclerosis)as it can be a sign, but it could be carpel tunnel syndrome. Hope you find what it is. X

As far as the " Burning part" i would read up also on RSD. Just to rule that out also. Sometimes trauma to that area will cause RSD. Just read all the symptoms so you know if it is that or not.

Sure sounds like neuropathy.  Have you had and EMG?  Have you been tested for lyme?

Have you had a EMG done? Have you ever had carpal tunnel? Maybe you want to look into that and  see if the symptoms seem related to what you are having. Seems to me it is definitly a nerve trapment somewhere. Best of luck. I would definitly refer you to a neurologist or pain management. They will be able to direct you where to begin being tested.
