Pinching pain on top of head

These "headaches" started a few months ago - and last for about one week a month. They are characterized by a strange, pinching feeling on top of my head that typically - about 75% of the time - I can't feel at all until I make a facial expression - ie frown, furrow my brow, crunch my face together - then I feel a sharp pinch in the same spot every time, the top slight left of center of my head. It occurs in an area about the size of a quarter. The other 25% of the time I may be able to feel some vague pressure or something in that spot, and the pinching still happens when I move my face. My doctor sent me for a CT, which was normal. I have an apt at a headache clinic, but the next spot wasn't for a month. Anyone have any ideas?

I have the same exact pain as what you've mentioned here. I went to my family doctor and said that it's a stress related problem and he advised me to take Tylenol instead; but the thing is it won't go away and it's been almost 2 weeks now and I still have that same spot sharp pinching pain on top of my head with the same spot. I just hope that my doctor was right and there's nothing to be scared of.

Any ideas, suggestions or medications to this problem is valuable to me / us who experienced this pain.

Please and thank you.
