Pins and Needles in hands and feet, Muscle Spasms (pinched nerve in neck)

Hey for about some time now I've been having pins and needle feelings in my hands and feet.  It started in the summer where my nose felt tingly and strange but that hasn't happened since so i'm not sure if that is even related.  Anyhow, i've been having these pins and needles sensations sometimes heat sensations as well in my hands and feet along with tingling in my left thumb and other fingers.  I recently started having muscle spasms in my buttocks, left pectoral muscle and a whole host of random parts of my body  (just now i had a spasm for like 20 mins deep in my butt).  I got blood work done and an MRI of my brain and neck about a month ago and the MRI came back showing i have a bulge in my neck ( a disc issue)  Could a simple herniated disc be causing all these problems?  Its really starting to freak me out.  I'd rather be dead then have a debilitating disease like MS....My neurologist didn't find anything beyond disc issue.  I also have had anxiety and i'm wondering if this could be part of the cause?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. Pins and needles in the upper limbs could be due bulging disc in the neck. you need to get an MRI lumbar spine to consider the paresthesiae in the lower limbs. Muscle cramps can be due to simple causes like muscle fatigue, heavy exercise, dehydration, hypothyroidism, hypomagnesemia and hypocalcemia, side effectsof drugs like diuretics, caffeine. muscle cramps are cause by more serious neurological causes like motor neuron disease, muscle diseases, denerevation usually accompanied by weakness and atrophy of the affected muscle group etc. You need to see a neurologist to examine you in detail and check these symptoms. Hope this helps, take care.
