I have a long term health issue that I can't seem to get a diagnosis after three attempts with different DR's. I occasionally loose my sight in a portion of my right eye. The first time it happened 12 years ago I went to an eye Dr. he called it an ocular migraine caused by high blood pressure. He suggested a regular DR. Regular DR said I didn't have high blood pressure and offered no treatment or diagnosis. I just lived with it believing if it got worse it may be easier for them to diagnose. It happens mostly when I ride singletrack trails on my dirt-bike. But it also happens when I wear a baseball cap. This makes me think it has to do with them pushing on my head. Once while driving It happened and I almost had a car wreck when I didn't see a car pulling out. I immediately drove straight to a Eye DR. and after the exam he blamed it on high blood pressure and sent me to regular DR. I wasn't wearing a cap this time. This time I skipped the regular DR and went directly to a urologist because I assumed high blood pressure was the cause and I have only one weak kidney. At the time we didn't have insurance so he didn't suggest any test, just rest and normal kidney care diet. We now are insured this still happens occasionally but now most days of the week I get VERY tired and have moments of lightheadedness and dizziness. I cant help but think they are related. I went to a regular DR and she put me on BP medicine. No change. On the first visit they sent me for a chest Xray, and they took 4 tubes of blood. No explanation what they were testing for. When I returned this week they didn't even remember doing the blood test. Not very confidence inspiring. She referred me to a urologist. The urologist office called and said I had to go back to the same eye DR again before he would see me. I canceled the visit as I felt like they were just playing games and not taking my situation seriously. I'm stumped as to what to do. I searched Ocular Migrain, and that is nothing like what I experience. I however have found Hemianopia. This is what I experience. I only loos a portion of my sight. It doesn't go black. It is as though I only see half of someones face in my right eye. Any guidance would be much appreciated. This can't be a normal situation. I forgot to mention, I feel no pain except a slight headache whenever I lye down and I feel pressure in my head and often hear crackling.
