I had spinal fusion, L4-5 S1, the it's been 7 weeks and the pain in intense. Both legs hurt, ( before the surgery I had left hip and leg pain, and lower back) . My legs are throbbing in pain, both knees, ankles and even the bottom of my feet are throbbing. I'm getting around ok but by end of day I can barely walk. Not picking my legs up all the way causing me to be clumsy and trip a little.
When is this going to end. My surgeon won't listen and keeps telling me I have a low tolerance to pain. NOT TRUE since I've had rotator cuff surgery and 5 abdominal hernias and went back to work in less than 2 weeks. He barely gave me any meds. Can't sleep, toss and turn all night. I went to my primary who gave me Ambian and I have a little vicoden I am trying to make last. I only take when I can't stand the pain. Too so much Motrin it ripping up my stomach so I had to stop. This surgeon is ridiculous and I want to fire him as he will NOT LISTEN. Does anyone have any idea how to make this guy beleive me? This pain is ridiculous!!
