Localized tingling in the scalp

For several weeks I am experiencing this strange sensation-a sort of tingling or prickling in a small spot of my scalp (center-left part of head). It comes and goes, and when I think (fear) about it and my heart beats faster, it sometimes comes again.

To make things more precise, I have recently changed countries and I work from home-that means a lot of sitting/lying down in front of a computer, leaning my head against the wall and other such habits. Moreover, I had sinus problems since I was a child due to hay fevers, and I recently did a root-canal on my upper right molar.

I am worried sick that I have a brain tumor since I read that this tingling is one of the indicators of a nerve pressure which is an indicator of a tumor. I was thinking about visiting neurologist, but if he orders a CT scan or MRI I have no money to pay it-my insurance unfortunately doesn't cover these.

So my question is simple: am I just freaking out for no or little reason, or I should be really worried (as I am, believe me).

Thanks in advance!
