I am 24 years old I am a student I have problems with my head (brain) since last 3 years. Symptoms are I am not able to concentrate and it feels like my brain is not able to concentrate and learn new things, also I feeling lost when I was in some conversation. Also I checked to psychiatrist, he says everything is normal and also doctors they told me to do CT scan that was normal.but i was able to crack some army related exam.
then i went to a neurologist. he want me to do MRI. report of which is here:-
BRAIN MRI report on 1.5 tesla 8 channel unit says:
1) subcentrimeteric focal cystic hyperintense foci on T2 & hypointense on T2 FLAIR & T1 with no evidence of blooming on GRE or restricted diffusion on DWI noted in left tegmentum of mid brain & left postero-medial thalamus.-suggestive of chronic ischemic lesion versus prominent virchow robin spaces.
2)rest of cerebral hemisphere show normal MR morphology, signal intensity and grey-white matter diffrentiation.
3)both lateral ventricles and third ventricle are normal in size.
4)cerebellar hemispheres are showing normal MR morphology, signal intensity and outline.
