Strange sound at back of neck and more

I often hear a quick gurgling sound at the back of my neck at the base of my skull, its really strange. Almost like water running down the back of my neck. Most of the time I hear it when im lying down but sometimes when Im doing normal daily activities. Ive recently been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia but im only 17. I was just wondering if the noise and neuralgia could be related?
Ive also been experiencing lots of other strange symptoms. Im contantly fatigued and struggle staying awake for lessons. Ive become really sensitive to the heat, I just cannot tolerate it anymore because the heat ( and especially sunlight) just makes me feel ill. The heat is also one of the main triggers for the facial neuralgia. Sometimes when ive gotten really hot as well as the symptoms just described i'd get shooting pains going down my back and spreading across my shoulders. Recently ive had terrible problems with my memory and congnitive function which is especially worrying with exams coming up. Yesterday I completely forgot all of my english stuff for school and the day before that I poured my crandberry juice into a bowl instead of a cup and then put the spoon in the cup of juice instead of the bowl of breakfast :S Ive heard a lot about MS, could all this be symptoms of it?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi, Thank you for your question. I think your symptoms may be due to nerve irritation in the cervical (neck) spine because of cervical disc bulge. This pain may be referred and perceived as occurring in the back of head & shoulders (as electric sensation), arms or chest, rather than just the neck. In addition, in trigeminal neuralgia you may have typical one sided facial pain extending to temple and eye( ophthalmic branch of trigeminal nerve may be involved) and sore gums of the teeth of same side (maxillary branch of 5th nerve). Trigeminal neuralgia may have a triggering factor like recent history of tooth extraction, touch, cold breeze or hot sensation etc. which you need to evaluate and avoid. Therefore, they are hardly interlinked. I would recommend you to see a neurologist who can evaluate the details of your case and could better determine the insight of your situation. Hope this helps.
