Tingling feeling throughtout left arm and hand

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but a couple weeks ago my left shoulder, arm and hand started to get the tingling feeling every once in a while.  There has never been any pain at all.  Over the last couple days, the tingling has been getting more frequent and more intense.  I am an athlete and have been all of my life.  I haven't had any trauma occur to myself.  I'm just wondering what kind of doctor I should see first?  A neurologist or a shoulder orthopedic surgeon?

I had similar sensation. All neurological reflexes were normal on physical examinations.Sensations were only for 10 minutes and no pain.M.R.I and few other test were done which were negative.
If sensations are temporary, usually it is nothing serious. If the sensations continue then there is a need to undergo relevant test.
However it is better to get physical neurological test to know if reflexes are normal.
