I still can not beleive i got that. Any insight on treatment will be greatly appriciate it.
wow its crazy to hear of someone else who got it young! i have had bilateral TN since i was 15 (now 21) and am getting MVD surgery in nov & again in dec. I have used tegretol baclofen and neurontin in the past and found nuerontin to be the best by far in regard to side effects.
hi im 29 and have tn, it is hard to get good help. i live in nova scotia and have a great surgeon his name is dr. brownstone he does all the diffrent procedures for tn suffers. he works out of the queen elizabeth hospital in halifax.
I'm 26 and I have had Trigeminal neuralgia since I was 12. So far Tegretol and Gabapetin have done the trick. However I'm at the highest doses and the pain is returning. I have a lypoma (fat tissue) on the nerve and had some of that removed when I was 14.
I'm looking for a good Nuerologist who know about TN and is in Toronto. Can anyone give me a suggestion. Or any other advice on how to deal with this. I'm just starting to look into things and am scarred at the repetitive nature of TN since I hope to have a lot of years ahead of me.
