Hi there.

While western medicine does not recognize the clinical and scientific utility of most chinese or eastern remedies, more people have come and tried their techniques with good results, especially in the field of pain control.  There have been anectodal reports of major surgeries being carried out just by the use of accupunture anesthesia.

Medications for nerve pain can also help in dealing with the pain, with drugs such as Gabapentin or Pregabalin, as well as some form of anti-depressant therapy which can modulate one's perception of pain.

Make sure you discuss all of these options with your doctors before applying them.  Regards and God bless.
