Vibrating feeling while sleeping

So I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this feeling. So while I'm sleeping, not falling asleep but already been sleeping, sometimes I can feel vibrations in my head, it comes in waves like it'll start, then get stronger, then die down then start again. It's only happened once while I was fully awake. I just want to know what it is, because it's pretty weird and happens pretty often. I've tried to look it up, but other people seem to get it while they're falling asleep, have been on medication and now aren't, or are experiencing sleep paralysis.

Common Signs of Abdominal Aortic aneurysm:
During a physical examination your doctor will exam your abdomen. If you have an abdominal aortic aneurysm, he may notice a mass near your stomach. Your abdomen may feel stiff or rigid, and there may be a rhythmic, pulsating sensation within the abdomen. This pulsation can feel similar to a heart beat. According to the Society for Vascular Surgery, “On rare occasions, your feet may develop pain, discoloration, or sores on the toes or feet because of material shed from the aneurysm.”

I have been researching this sensation for some time and this is the first "Medical" reference to this type of sensation.  I've been diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy, Vascular restrictions in both legs and most recently in a "Met Bone Survey+Long Bones" xray was found, "Atherosclerotic Abdominal Aortic Calcifications. These terms led me to the research above.

It is extremely discouraging to me the "lack" of medical interaction on this subject. Like no doc will touch with a ten foot pole.

The Neurology Dept where I was diagnosed in essence dismissed me for further help or testing saying none of my symptoms of leg pain, balance, cold feet, hands are symptoms of Neuropathy. Despite my EMG report. And every doctor since that time 6 months ago has asked just one question: "And do you know what is causing your Neuropathy? Has anyone concluded/researched/studied attempted to find out "WHY" you have nerve (mild sensorimotor length dependent peripheral neuropathy) damage? And I have to answer no.

I'm not a drinker, I quit smoking 25 years ago, no high cholesteral, recent high bp, good HDL, no diabetes etc. etc. Hypothyroidism, yes.

That after a left and right torn meniscus, knee arthritis, P.N., and P.A.D. why anyone in their right mind would mention Restless leg or Fibromyalgia tells me the last 20 years of medical training has been in the ditch.

The wave like feelings you described I also get at nite while in bed..Sometimes it wakes me up at middle of the night..crazy
That is interesting, is it while you're doing anything in particular, or just throughout the day no matter what it is you're doing? I don't really have those other things you're describing, but it could be connected to what you're feeling.
No, as far as Iv noticed, it's usually when I am lying down to go to sleep, but has on several occasions awakened me out of a dead sleep. Then a panic like hits and I feel my heart beating strong and I feel almost like I'm may pass out..it's horrible. I have to say, I haven't had it in like 3 weeks, but I never know when it will hit.
When you get it in your sleep and it wakes you up, does it cause sleep paralysis for you?  And it's the same for me, doctors suggest sleep studies but its not like it happens all the time, so if it doesn't happen that night then it was a waste of time. It is entirely unpredictable for me.
No, haven't had sleep paralysis! Just have to talk myself thru it because it causes full blown panic attack. Exactly! We can never pinpoint when this will happen so sleep studies are hard to agree to. I also get like brain zaps.  Do you get these? It's like a fore cracker dud in my head. I hate it. My head will have lie waves washing over it at times and the trembling is like my brain is lie jello and is wiggling..such strange symptoms..but it only happens occassionally. .

Could it be a csf leak causing low pressure which feels to you like vibrating ?

I don't think so, I've never had any sort of injuries that could cause one and I do not have any of the symptoms of a csf leak.
