What could be wrong

Hi,
I hope you can help me. I have had two clean outs in 2005 at L5S1 with no sucess. I had a very invasive L5S1 fusion that took five hours to do on Dec. 4. I am eleven weeks post op and having alot of odd problems. I was always bothered by left leg pain before, now after surgery, it is my left and right. My left foot is hurting awlful and is numb. I have nerve pain down both legs but not every day. Some days are just as bad as before surgery. and a few days a week it still is there but not as servere. I have a lot of new symptoms that I didnt have before surgery, which are: terrible pain in hip with a popping noise( no bone graft done), electrical sensations in hips, legs and up arms, (I was cute about ten inches up), repeated jerking at night while trying to fall asleep, legs feel electrical all in them, and I have these sensations on hips and legs of hot pen hitting hard and I rub it and it will go away for about five secounds and back again in all different places...This is all about to drive me nuts. My PCP put me on Trileptal and Neurontin. It helps very little! I also have a popping noise in the left hip back area where my fusion is that ocurs when I shift legs in bed or walk or first sit or get up...It is always with a movement of shifting...I am not bending or twisting. My legs are so stiff and my knees and ankles are so swollen. I HOPE you cant help me, because I cant see my neurosurgeon for two weeks and I cant get the office to listen to me on this. What do you think could be going on? Please respond and thank you,,Becky

sounds like your bones trying to get used to being back to normal and some nerve damage. my mother had the same problems after each of her 4 fusions
