brain question...

If the symptons are swollen area from top of eyebrow into and beyond the hairline and is about 2 inches wide and when you touch it it sinks in what would that be? For example its similar to swollen ankles of a  women during pregnancy. When you put your finger on them then it stays imprinted. But not no where as bad as ankles would be but similar to. What kind of fluid would be retanded in the left temporial lobe and above the eye? All  can I think of is it may be blood? What do you think?

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
Swelling above the eye brow can be a hematoma if there is a history of trauma to that part of head. Another possibility is swelling due to sinusitis. It can also be an abscess or a cyst filled with fluid. Cystic acne can also cause a swelling over the eyebrow.
Hope this helps!
