I have been having many of the same symptoms that everyone else is describing, and I am about to get married in a few months - makes me think that the life-stressor thing has some value.
I wake up feeling disoriented and like I've lost my memory all the time I have weird eyesight. My feelings are gone I feel panicky out of reality. My hearing feels weird like I can't focus or understand people half the time I'm to the point of suicide
Anxiety plays a big part in my life also.. Used to
Get panic attacks often. Always feel on edge as a panic attack
will happen any moment
I have pressure in my eyes and head. Back and neck pain. No energy always tired. Been going on severly for about 3 weeks and every day seems worse..I love to run and exercise but have no energy to do it. Getting really upset everyday. Got tested for thyroid and anemia..going to a chiropractor.. Have a dr appt next tues.. God help.
I'm a 15 years old girl, and i have most of the symptoms listed.
I recently got a check up because i couldn't take it anymore, and they said i had depression, anxiety attacks, etc . . but i'm not 100% sure that would be it. It's really hard because nothing interests me anymore, i just want to stay home and sleep because of my eyesight & how much it bothers me & how i get really dizzy.I'm really scared of what my future might be like. . .
To those who have brain fog and have severe memory loss. PLEASE READ
I would definitely get your thyroid checked. I was a tad high in my thyroid levels 5.4. all doctors felt this was normal, but I was able to convince one to put me on medication to see if it would help. He prescribed me .25 mg Synthroid, what he called basically a placebo. Placebo or not, this did wonders for me. My thyroid dropped to 1, my brain fog went away, and no longer feel extreme fatigue. I still get tired, but it is a much better and different feeling then the exhaustion I had felt.
I believe what had happened to me was that I got so anxious and stressed out that my adrenal gland stopped working properly putting me into a fight or flight mode. When your body goes into fight or flight mode, all energy is used causing fatigue. The adrenal gland is connected to your thyroid and when my adrenals stopped working, I believe it threw off my thyroid.
I am currently on Cymbalta and Synthroid and feel much better then I have in a long time. Cymbalta helps with stress and anxiety as it is an SNRI.
However, my eyes are still not focused and have that cross eyed feeling.
I would recommend trying and SNRI and getting thyroid checked. Ive lost years of my life already to these symptoms. All I can say is dont accept it, be proactive and keep the information flowing.
