head injury

Hello,My name is Raquel and I'm 31 years old. I was in Mcdonald an this guy hit me with his elbow close to my left temple. I went home and put some ice ,the bump went down , but i had a lot of pain in the site of injury. 3 weeks passed and I still have a small bump and it hurts if I touch it. How long can the pain last? I,m a fitness instructor so I do exercises every day.I'm worry about and hematoma or a fracture of a bone.I do not have insurance.Any ideas?

I will take Ibuprofen every 8 hours. I hope it goes away. I'm a nurse student and I can not concentrate at all  because I'm afraid something can happen to me. Sad for all of us that can not afford health insurance.I really appreciate your help and your time.

Hi, try anti inflammatory drugs for a week or so along with hot fomentation. Get an X ray PNS or skull done to rule out fracture. It may take a month or 2 for pain to settle down. In case no relief is seen 2 weeks, do consult neurosurgeon.
