knee pain and numbness

hi,
    i am radiologist in india, i used to work atleat 10-12 hr per day. My problem started 2 yr back as sharp pricking pain along lateral aspect of the right knee with numbness(5 to 15%) when compared to other adjacent area. After some 3 to 4 months later in the same area there is tinigling sensation develop, this tingling slowly progressive towards thigh region
1 yr back pain in the lateral aspect of the  left popliteal fossa develop which is sharp and burning nature and radiating towards calf muscles. Both knee pains are aggrevating on sitting position and  when on standing pain little bit pain  releved, but tingling sensation develop spontaneously on right knee and lower thigh region

still iam  suffering pain in the both lower limb over/below knee joints

on motor deficit bladder/bowel dysfunction/ no joint pains
on xray no bone abnormality
not a diabetic/HTN
please clarify
1. whether these pain belongs to neuropathic/disc
2. any adjacent bone pathology
3. ?vascular
4.?paraneoplatic

it sounds like a nerve problem that may be originating in your spine.  Have you had an MRI of your spine done?
