I stumbled upon this site, and am amazed at how many of these stories sound so similar to what my husband is going through. He has been diagnosed with illoinguinal nerve entrapment... started with a hernia repair that left him in pain for several years, then had a triple neurectomy, which provided some relief for a short amount of time, but the pain has returned with a vengence. We have tried everything from accupuncture, TENS, Tramadol, Celebrex, Gabapentin, and now pain medicine that has terrible side effects. He has been going on 6 years of up and down pain, and is now in the worst pain he has suffered yet. Seems as if options are running out other than physical therapy, another neurectomy and possible "pulsed radiofrequency" Wondering about the Dr. in Nashua NH?
This has been such a challenging and painful experience for him, and although I continue to have hope, I must admit, I am feeling like our options may be running out.
My husband is in the exact same situation. How are you now? Where you able to find someone to stop the pain?
Totally confused. This doctor did do surgery on you or are you trying to consult him to fix the damage?
Secondly, try to google him for an address, phone numeber, etc.
Thirdly, as you probably already figured out, alot of surgeons don't like to be involved in "fixing" complications one received from a surgery they didn't perform, so.....Good Luck.
From my understanding he is 1 of 2 that works with the ilioinguinal nerve.I may be wrong.I am desperate for help.
How does Dr. Conway tie into the situation?
