My son is 18 yrs old and is having medical problems. He has been diagnosed with EDS III and been told he has snapping hip syndrom. Well since the hip problem started it has been continuous. We started out going to the ER two and three times a week. He has been to so many specialist and no one is able to fix him. All that is being done is an attempt to control his pain with very strong addictive medicines that are probably going to cause him even more problems. He is in constant pain. He walks with a cane. I am so worried about him. I have researched about snapping hip syndrom and found that there is a surgery that can be done but none of the Drs we have seen so far are wanting to even discuss doing surgery. He has seen orthopedics and neurologist. All of this has or course caused him to be depressed and now the Drs are saying it is psycological. He is 18 yrs old and taking opan, percocets, cymbalta and trazadone daily. Please, do you have any suggestions for us.
