neurology

my upper lip  and eye lid twitches. it doesn't happen very often, but when i does happen, it could be a whole day of twitching. what does it mean?

Hi there. These twitches could be myokymia or benign fasciculatory movements, which are not associated with any specific disease. These can last for a few weeks and involve the muscles of the face.  Stress, anxiety, lack of sleep is the common culprits. No specific treatment is indicated for these. Take care.

My bottom lip quivers and my upper lip is numb . Hope we can find some answers .
